This class is suitable for everyone and assumes no prior experience with yoga. We begin with some breath work and move into a few postures that can be modified to suit your level of flexibility and strength. Throughout you’ll be encouraged throughout to check in with your body and honor its messages. You will learn to recognize good pain — underused muscles awakening with stretching — from destructive pain, which is your body warning you to back off. We’ll finish with a short rest and meditation. Bring a mat and a towel for a plunge in the pool if you like.
